World Diam Tour Caribbean 2025: Buzz Race Team wins a tough, competitive circuit
Final Bow for the World Diam Tour Caribbean 2025. The WDT Caribbean 2025 delivered on all its promises with five planned stages—although the final one couldn’t take place due to exceptional stormy weather conditions. Thus, the overall results are based on four races held between Saint Martin and Antigua, featuring varied yet always spectacular conditions.
After a series of intense races including the SMYC Grand Prix, the Caribbean Multihull Challenge, the legendary Heineken Regatta (which saw 11 Diam 24od participants, including 3 crews from mainland France), and finally the Friar Bays Grand Prix, Buzz Race Team emerged victorious with remarkable consistency (3-2-4-3), scoring a total of 12 points. They were followed by Crybaby (15 points) and Look Up SBH (18 points), completing a hard-fought podium battle throughout the circuit. Special mention also goes to Karibuni and Anomaly, winners of the 1st and 2nd stages respectively.
The 2025 edition again showcased the vitality of the Diam 24od fleet in the Caribbean, with nine crews competing—including several new faces strengthening the local fleet. The outlook for 2026 is already very promising, with three Diam 24od boats from the French Antilles confirming their intention to join all or part of the circuit.
A huge thank you to the organizers, partner clubs, and crews for their dedication and passion.
See you late 2025 and early 2026 for an even richer season ahead!
