The 2023/2024 World Diam Tour Caribbean season has come to an end, marking the close of a period filled with fierce competition and genuine camaraderie. The Diam 24od fleet impressed throughout the season with its training and racing program set among the idyllic islands of the Caribbean.
A first this season: the partnership with the Sint Maarten Yacht Club made organizing the World Diam Tour Caribbean much smoother while benefiting from the club’s full expertise.
Once again, the Diam 24ods were spectacular on the water, catching the attention of many sailors — even in the United States. The article in the American magazine World Sailing (by Dave Reed, “The Caribbean’s Hot One-Design Fleet”) highlights the rise of the Diam 24od class in the Caribbean, which has grown from three to ten boats in just a few years, with the arrival last season of two new teams: Buzz Race Team from the British Virgin Islands and Miha from Barbados.
With a total of 10 participants this season, the fleet on this side of the Atlantic is growing too.
