Description
The gennaker has a 37 m² sail area and is made from a very thin membrane, flat-laminated in the factory, using CZ05 Optic2. The material is stiff, lightweight and well locked, perfectly suited to sail use and designed for excellent durability.
It features a Tri-Radial 6R-Cut, with a luff fitted with a pre-stretched anti-torsion textile cable (1.5 t), 2 Karver thimbles, and 2 blue P.O. class labels.
The sail is equipped with:
– Hook-and-loop fastening at the clew
– A serial number
– An RFID chip
– A leech line
– 2 lashings at the tack and halyard points, allowing adjustment of cable tension and height (higher or lower) to open or close the leech
– Class compliance stamps on selected seams
The gennaker is supplied in its bag, with the cable to be installed and adjusted.
Decoration:
Gennakers may be decorated using special sail paint or self-adhesive vinyl film.
